Aconteceu na última quarta-feira a People’s Choice Awards 2016, uma premiação anual onde o público vota em seus artistas favoritos em diversas categorias. Dessa vez foi a vez de Chris levar o prêmio na categoria de Ator Favorito de Filme de Ação (Favorite Action Movie Actor) por seu trabalho como Thor em Vingadores: A Era Ultron. Ao subir no palco para ganhar o prêmio Chris disse em seu discurso, “Muito obrigado a vocês por apoiar e me permitirem viver meu sonho, é muito especial poder viver esse sonho de infância… Isso foi possível graças a vocês, os fãs.” Na categoria Chris concorreu com Robert Downey Jr., Chris Pratt, Dwayne Johnson e Vin Diesel. Além de tudo, ainda teve Elle DeGeneres que no fim de seu discurso após ganhar na categoria que estava concorrendo, pediu para que colocassem uma foto de Chris sem camisa no telão! Confira abaixo:

Após a premiação, Chris ainda agradeceu no instagram, “Obrigado ao @peopleschoice por essa épica estátua de vidro e a todos os fãs que votaram, vocês são incríveis!!”

O Huading Awards é uma premiação chinesa que premia os melhores de várias categorias e de várias facções artísticas como cinema, dança, televisão teatro e música. Os ganhadores são escolhidos por meio de votos dos fãs e podem aparecer durante a premiação.

Chris e Naomi Watts foram selecionados pelos fãs da premiação como melhore ator e atriz do mundo (Best Global Actor) e receberam o prêmio ontem, dia 18 de janeiro, em Macau, na China.

Foi divulgado recentemente os indicados ao BAFTA, Academia de Artes Britânica da Televião e do Cinema, ou vulgarmente falando, o “Oscar Britânico”.
